Research shows that it is not easy for individuals to start conversations with people they have not met before which could mean anything. It is no secret that introverts and extroverts communicate differently but there are ways of finding a spark in a conversation.
As an extrovert I have decided to create tips which individuals could use to start conversations with strangers in public.
Tip 1 : Start conversations with random topics.
Tip 2 : Ask questions about who they are.
Tip 3 : Ask them about their personal experiences to learn something.
Tip 4: Provide them with basic insight about who you are and what you are doing in your life.
Tip 5: Give them a chance to speak to ensure that they feel comfortable.
Tip 6: Most importantly do not laugh at their personal experiences.
Tip 7: Compliment them(I like your dress for instance).
Tip 8: Offer to help them and brighten up their day.
Tip 9: Ask for advice if you need it.
Tip 10:Ask for their contact details after a successful conversation to keep in touch with them, and maybe it could be the beginning of a fruitful friendship.
The world becomes a better place when we unite and help each other by communicating with others,at the same time people are not forced to communicate with strangers if they are not comfortable.
Just like relationships, friendships are also built in such a way that individuals end up trusting each other… Remember that Rome was not built in day.
