In the Behaviourism theory it was clearly stated that the behaviour of children reinforces negatively if they are punished, and the behaviour also reinforces positively if they receive rewards from their parents.

Parents on the other hand discipline their children on a daily basis with the hope that they will become better adults and parents in the future, but we can safely propose that most parents do not consider the feelings of their children.

In this article we will be discussing the relationship that children should have with their parents, and the significance of parents and children having an open relationship.

In the previous generation our parents have mentioned that they were not permitted to backchat their parents which clearly depicts that most parents were authoritative and our parents could not express their personal opinions and feelings.

Moving forward I suggest that parents should have bonding sessions with their children by simply asking how their day was for instance, and they should consider how their children feel in such a way that they permit their children to express the way they feel politely so,to prevent hatred between both parties.

The advantages of bonding sessions for parents and children include a better understanding, demonstration of non-sexual love, care, and respect.

All in all,if children cannot express the way they feel at home, then it won’t be easy for them to express their feelings in society in relation to the friendships and relationships they have with other people.
