Psychology is a broad term which focuses on the mental processes and behaviour of individuals, therefore theorists and psychologists suggested that there is a link between behaviour and the mental processes individuals go through on a daily basis which has an impact in the now and the future.

Individuals who have experienced trauma should not embark on the journey of forgetting or rather healing alone, and their surroundings should provide adequate assistance by distracting them here and there.

The three types of trauma are:

Acute trauma which results from a single event.

Chronic trauma which is an aftermath of a repetition of the same events such as abuse.

Complex trauma is a result of numerous traumatic events which the individual has not dealt with by letting everything slide which can be detrimental to their mental health.

All in all, trauma could also be a factor of depression and in the latter stage trauma could lead to individuals attempting to commit suicide,in addition it is one of the topics which individuals need to be educated about for them to be able to deal with the consequences of trauma.
